Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Persona 4 Revival Grounded 2 and More: Everything Announced at Xbox Games Showcase
On Sunday, the Xbox Games Showcase detonated a megaton bomb of gaming goodness, delivering 30 hours of reveals, announcements, and jus de buff updates of titles preparing to take over our screens. From first-party Microsoft heavy hitters to unexpected third-party entries, it was one gigantic hype fest. The next Call of Duty came out of darkness, and it was now Xbox versus Asus with branded Asus ROG Ally handhelds. But that was just the appetizer for first-party fire; catch Grounded 2 whilst sitting comfortably on the time-eating Clockwork Revolution and the cryptic Keeper. Then those with drool coming out could just watch fresh trailers for The Outer Worlds 2 and Gears of War: Reloaded, dropping in and giving tantalizing looks into their expanded universes.
Lessons of dragons and knights aside, the Xbox Games Showcase was set to soar into outer space this year with an array of mysteries! Atlus revealed the Persona 4 Remake, which had been whispering in our ears for years. Then came Don Not launch full blast withAphelion, a sci-fi adventure that made us dream of distant galaxies. Game Freak-the people behind Pokémon-just releasedBeast of Reincarnation, a title so packed with potential that it practically mandates a deep-dive analysis. And when you think A Plague Tale can’t get any darker, Asobo Studio is dragging you back 15 years for an emotional-eviscerating experience. Missed it? Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Announced
Tactical gear on, operatives! Black Ops saga unleashes a double strike never before seen. Right after the launch of Black Ops 6, Microsoft has promised yet another hype bomb at the Xbox Games Showcase: Enter Black Ops 7. The tipsters have it that the deployment shall be toward 2035, where an identity recalls that of David Mason, the hero of Black Ops 2, re-enters the arena. Prepare yourselves for an unprecedented succession of covert operations.
2035: The world really sat on the edge of a cliff. The blistering scars of Black Ops 2 and 6 had gone deep into splitting global conflict into a psychological battlefield. David Mason, equipped with bleeding-edge technology, leads the Black Ops team–humanity’s last line of defense against an enemy who doesn’t trade in bullets but instead trades in fear. They are manipulating, they are terrorizing, and they are winning; can Mason and his team still pull the reverse before fear consumes it all?
Start preparing, for this summer will see the lifting of the shadows on Black Ops 7. Grounded 2 Announced
Forget shrinking violets; Obsidian Entertainment has gone in for the big plans! Besides all the hype forThe Outer Worlds 2, there’s another huge announcement:Grounded 2. After being shrunk down an incredible 24 months ago in Brookhollow Park, the glove is off for another huge leap back. But here is the kicker: just the starting zone inGrounded 2is as big as the entire backyard we explored inGrounded1. To tame this massive new world laid ahead, Obsidian partnered with Eidos Montreal’s geniuses. Time to get grounded again-well, on a bigger scale.
They’re back! The backyard teens, weathered and wiser, are jumping headfirst into a much bigger and bolder nightmare in Grounded 2. Get ready to be swallowed by an ecosystem of terrifying new bugs and a bitterly hard combat system. Ain’t your daddy’s backyard now! Get ready to shrink all over again on July 29, 2025, when Grounded 2 launches into Game Preview on Xbox Series S/X, Xbox on PC, and Xbox Cloud, as well as Early Access on Steam. Keeper Announced
Announced at the Xbox Games Showcase,Keeperis a walking lighthouse with a breathtaking third-person adventure from Double Fine Productions, the maternity behind the likes ofPsychonauts 2. Imagine a world sculpted by light. As the Keeper, your light beam doesn’t just shine-light-it alters the makeup of the terrain. With your wry seabird companion who is as proficient at cracking jokes as he is cracking puzzles, it’s a journey of discovery. Get set to reshape the surroundings, one beam at a time.
So begins the reveal trailer, a psychedelic affair washed in superficial strangeness forKeeper-, wherein you are set to dive into a bright island harboring a growing stain of ill. Wet with the inkiness, the keeper of the lighthouse finds himself ineluctably drawn inwards towards the malignant heart of the island’s mystery. The good side: you get to confront the unknown presumably on October 17th, whenKeeperwill be released for Xbox Series S/X and PC. It would be good to last day on Game Pass.
Beast of Reincarnation Announced
Gone are the days of Pokémon. Game Freak has just released a wild beast:Beast of Reincarnation. Shown at the Xbox Game Showcase, this isn’t your cutesy pocket monster world. There are broken skyscrapers, landscapes clambered up by nature, and an eerie beauty of post-apocalypse Japan.
You are, rather, a girl named Emma-oh, an outsider branded by a curse roam this cruel world with her faithful dog, Koo. Forget catching ’em all; she’s battling them all and has just entered the world of reborn fiendish beasts of this civilization. Beast of Reincarnation is going to provide a visceral action RPG like no other from the hands of Game Freak.
Prepare to confront towering monsters;Beast of Reincarnationis a brutal action-combat experience and a forged title in the Soulslike genre. The trailer gives us the tease of an epic boss fight against screen-filling beasts. Arrival expected next year on PC (through Steam and Xbox app), PS5, and Xbox Series S/X;Beasts of Reincarnationwill also hit Game Pass on day one.
Persona 4 Revival Announced
The murmurs are true! The fog is lifting in Inaba, and that chilling mystery is also coming back now reborn, for a much younger generation. Atlus has officially announced “Persona 4 Revival” during the Xbox Games Showcase, cast back into the tranquility of an eerie little Japanese town stricken with sinister murders.
