Capcom Adds Original Versions of Resident Evil 1 2 and Resident Evil 3 Nemesis to Steam
Steam has released the original versions of the first three Resident Evil games. Resident Evil 1, 2, 3 Released on Steam
Steam had only the HD remaster of the original Resident Evil, and the new remakes of ResIDENT Evil 2 and 3 before the three classic survival horror games were added to the platform. On Wednesday, Capcom announced the update on X.
Steam has now released Resident Evil 1, 2, and 3 of ResIDENT Evil. On the storefront, however, three classic games have also been slashed out as well. Moreover, Capcom has heavily discounted all Resident Evil games on Steam as part of its spring sale (except the new ResIDENT Evil Requiem released in April).
Resident Evil Requiem a Hit for Capcom
Last month, Capcom said that Resident Evil Requiem, the ninth main instalment of the ResIDENT Evil franchise, had sold more than six million copies. In the Resident Evil franchise, Requiem is now the fastest title to reach that sales milestone.
