Crimson Desert PC and Console Specs Revealed: Heres How the Game Will Run on PS5 and Xbox Series S/X
The March 19 release of Crimson Desert will be for PC, PS5, Xbox Series S/X and Mac. Developer Pearl Abyss has posted a number of gameplay clips to show the title’s seemingly endless suite of features and state of the art visuals ahead of its release as an open world action-adventure game. The South Korean studio announced specs for Crimson Desert on all supported platforms today as well as the game’s much debated performance on consoles has been a key feature of its most popular hit.
Pearl Abyss shared detailed PC system requirements with console and Mac specs for Crimson Desert on Tuesday. It is the game’s performance on consoles under the headline “The title is how it plays out.” Several recent weeks have been divided over the game’s performance on PS5 and Xbox Series S/X as people claimed that Pearl Abysian was “hiding” console performance, graphics and speculation about how well-being of the Game woudl would be playing on current-gen consoles.
Crimson Desert Console Specs
Developer has since detailed Crimson Desert’s performance on PS5 and Xbox Series S/X. In Consoles, it will play in three modes Performance mode (which favours framerate over resolution); Balanced mode; bride-framerate and resolution; and Quality mode a motion that bumps up resolution at the cost of frame rate.
The performance of PS5 and Xbox Series X is consistent. Both consoles will play the game at 1080p and 60fps with raytracing set to low in Performance mode. Crimson Desert 1280p upscaled to 4K at 40 fps in Balanced, with the film running on 1380pm. raytracing to high-speed 4K at 30fps in Quality mode, the two console will run at game at 1440p upscaled with a clock of 1400p.
Note that PS5 and Xbox Series X will not run Crimson Desert at native 4K resolution in any mode, so it’s worth the reminder. A stronger PS5 Pro, however, will hit 4K + 30fps in Quality mode with raytracing set to Ultra quality (although the more powerful PS5) Pro is still on its way. In addition, the game will also use an updated edition of PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution (PSSR) — originally used in Resident Evil Requiem to run at 1080p upscaled to 4K at 60fps in Performance mode on PS5 Pro. In this mode, ryatracing quality will be set to High on Ryatrancing.
Xbox Series S owners retreated Crimson Desert will play at 720p and 40fps on the Performance mode, 1080p (and 30fpm) in Quality mode on lower-end Xbox console. raytracing will be supported by neither of the modes, nor in both. Pearl Abyss Here’s the full console specs breakdown of this.

Crimson Desert PC Specs
In contrast, PC specs for Crimson Desert (advised to the game’s optimisation) confirm that the video has been optimised on old hardware with minimum system requirements supporting AMD Radeon RX 550 XT and Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 GPUs. To play the game at 4K, 60fps on PC at Ultra graphics preset, you’ll need Radeon RX 9070 XT or GeForce RTX 5070 Ti. On the top end of that is it necessary to run the video? Crimson desert is also a PC-based device that requires at least 16GB of RAM and 150GB SSD storage.
Crimson Desert, on Mac, will run on devices with M2 Pro or above chipsets. It also shared specs for the game on ROG Xbox Ally andROGS X allies x, Pearl AbYss also posted specifications of the video. This is the 720p and 40fps open world game that will be played on the lower-end device, where runs at a low- end level. In the Xbox Ally X it will run 60fps, 40fpms and 30fPs across Performance, Balanced and Quality modes on its own.
On March 19, critic desert will be released on PC, PS5, Xbox Series S/X and Mac; it is currently available to pre-order across all supported platforms. The title of the vast open world action-adventure is based on the fictional continent of Pywel and follows the story of Kliff, a Greymane warrior (and his friends) and his companions. Game features elements of medieval fantasy, melee action-combat and open-ended exploration.
