Elon Musk Says Hell Resume Working 24/7 at His Companies X Outage Mostly Restored
The X platform of the social media affiliate of Elon Musk resumed its operation following Saturday after a major disruption. According to Downdetector.com, in tens of thousands users in the US were affected. In his rare social media appearance, he declared that he was “back to spending 24/7” at his companies.
It was not a fine morning for Twitter. At around 8:51 a.m. ET (1251 GMT), there was a spike in user-reported issues on the social media platform, which recorded over 25,800 cases, according to Downdetector. But also like a phoenix, the glitches on Twitter seemed to resolve themselves and the cases dropped down to under 650 by 12:09 p.m. ET.
“Those late nights are back. Living at work, mission fueled. X/xAI and Tesla operating at full throttle, incoming critical tech. And the countdown for Starship is for next week? Get set for liftoff.”
The digital world was shut for a while for many users as a significant social media site went down on a broad scale. From Berlin to Bangalore, Madrid to Melbourne, and Paris to London, rancor pervaded across continents, leaving users in Germany, Spain, France, India, Canada, and Australia disconnected, as per Downdetector.
X did not immediately respond to a Reuters request for comment on the outage.
Elon Musk, who lavished nearly $300 million last year on Republican coffers, including Donald Trump’s presidential campaign, has basically halted the donations. Facing a mounting wall of investor anxieties, Musk hinted Tuesday that he might just concentrate his energies-more of his energy and fortune-on his sprawling business empire, as he suggested a huge step-back from the political arena.
He developed the Department of Government Efficiency, tasked with surgical bureaucratic trimming: tens of thousands of jobs slated for elimination, billions in contracts and grants being cut.
The battery never materialized. A spark took fire instead across the volatile realm of political discourse. As the world reacted lehgo, protests erupted both in Europe and in America, brutally targeting Tesla. The impact, as one may expect, was swift and merciless; sales plummeted. 2019 saw Tesla experience a horrid milestone: first-ever annual decline in deliveries, and if this is the trivial sign among many, it is an obvious display of the power of people’s sentiment.
Elon Musk is being scrutinized by the investors in light of his devotion to Tesla. Elon announced he’d be reducing his involvement with DOGE to just a day or two a week starting from May-this was an effort to calm investors.
