Meta AI Could Reportedly Get New ‘Avocado’ Models AI Agents and OpenClaw Integration

The shipping of new features and products was relatively slow, compared to ChatGPT, Gemini (along with the other major artificial intelligence (AI) platforms like Meta AI). Nevertheless, according to a new report, the tech giant owned by Mark Zuckerberg is working on several major features in order to improve overall experience of the app. Many of these features aim to enhance interoperability through integration with Anthropic’s Model Context Protocol (MCP) and AI agents, while others are designed to improve the general performance for the Meta AI platform.

Meta AI to Reportedly Get New Features

A TestingCatalog report claims that Meta will add a number of features to its AI chatbot. The paper also found evidence of these features in the codebase of the Meta AI website and even discovered some of them within a few of their features. The magazine said it had ‘found several internal modes of the platform other than Fast and Thinking, which were not included in fast and thinking. Within such models, two AI models – known as Avocado and Avocado Thinking – also appeared in traces of the same model. Several models or modes are not well-known to the public, and haven’t been known about them. But the magazine said it did not produce any better answers if they used avocado (the only working model) to generate responses. But that could be due to the server turning off the queries from existing models, if it is not so.

Meta bought Manus AI (a company known for its self-powered general-purpose AI agent) in December 2025. It is said that references to a model called Sierra were found within the code. According to the references, Manus browser agent was reportedly mentioned in reference; this suggests that it is likely “the company may be using the technology of acquired startup” to integrate a browser application. ‘s functions are also not clear.

It is also said that the tech giant will reportedly add support for OpenClaw (formerly Clawd and Moltbot) as well as its own backing. In the code, references to the integration seen by the publication indicate that Meta AI will allow users to connect any model via the user’s application programming interface (API) key and all experience is being referred to as an “OpenClaw agent”. However, as with the previous updates, it’s unclear whether this setup will be effective or not.
