Perplexity Takes On Claude Cowork With Personal Computer an Agentic AI Platform for Mac Mini

The Personal Computer was unveiled Wednesday by Perplexity as an extension to the last month’s Perxity Computer platform. Unlike the name suggests, it is not a hardware system; but an Apple Mac Mini-based device that connects Perplexity Computer to ‘a machine’ and allows it to access the local apps and files. This allows the multi-model agentic system to do more complex tasks independently with that, as it does so for example, a large number of complicated tasks can be done by itself.
