With a Dimensity 9400e under the hood, GT 7 roars loud; GT 7T is powered by Dimensity 8400-Max. Choose your warrior: fight it out with 12GB RAM and 256/512GB storage. But for the GT 7 Dream Edition? The Dream Edition for high-flying 16GB + 512GB scoffs at 49,999.

The Realme GT 7 series is launched by the GT 7T, and the climax is reached by the GT 7 Dream Edition, where cutting-edge technological innovation merges.
Realme GT 7 Design and Display: Decent but misses the oomph; the display is top-notch
- Colours – IceSense Black and IceSense Blue
- Dimensions – 162.4×76.1×8.3mm and 206 grams
- Display – 6.78-inch AMOLED display with 1264×2780 pixels with 120Hz
- Peak brightness – 6000nits
Among the new looks at GT 7’s, the base model is like the one that plays it safe, almost to a point where it blends into the background. It just lacks that head-turning spark. But wait, don’t count it out yet. That unassuming contender carries a secret: impeccable weight distribution. By picking it up, you’ll be surprised at how well-balanced this huge 7,000mAh battery feels. Well played, Realme R&D!
The Realme GT 7 is equipped with an “IceSense Design” back that offers greater thermal conductivity. Realme claims that this so-called innovative design manages to cut off a whole degree Celsius. That may seem trivial, but in the performance section, it is going to be revealed how much that lone degree changes the experience.

Realme has used Graphene in the rear design of the GT 7
Though the back panel is understated, it holds an odd charm in itself. My IceSense Blue GT 7 arrived, and I found its color to be artistically mesmerizing in everyday use. A case is there, but it would almost feel like a crime to hide this phone inside. The in-hand feel is incredible-almost like a soft caress-the perfect word to describe premium. This one is not like a glass-backed phone that feels terribly slippery. The IceSense Blue also puts on the best show-camouflaging smudges with finesse for those courageous individuals who decide to eschew the case. The plastic frame of the phone, however, secretly barks at those premium intents from afar, holding it from truly standing out from the crowd.

The display on the GT 7 supports HDR 10+, Dolby Vision, and 120Hz refresh rate
What with cold metal and dull plastic, the GT 7 fiberglass back feels surprisingly premium in the hand-the relief. A burst of crimson on the power button on the right side really adds some personality to the design. Dragging down notifications and quick settings is smooth with a mere thumb swipe reaching to the top of the expansive screen. Up top lies an IR blaster that is now rare, a nostalgic salute to universal remote control. Below, you’ll find a typical USB-C jack and dual SIM tray with a lone speaker between them. The blue version glimmers with a ghosted Realme logo barely visible against the light. Finally, next to the camera, “Graphene” is etched in bold. Realme is clearly going all in on the GT 7, claiming it shamelessly as the first phone ever to realize the potential of Graphene design.
At the front, the GT 7 bears Corning Gorilla Glass 7i, an almost break-proof glass that places emphasis on the premium feel of the phone. Water? Dust do not matter. The phone has an extreme IP69 rating, ready to bounce back at any situation. And yet, this proven beast weighs only 206 grams, light and daring to feel so in the hand. Blame it on the superior weight distribution; ergonomics are the bliss.

Now deep-dive into the specs to appreciate its professional target audience!). The display is 6.78 inches, with an AMOLED panel, and a pixel resolution of 1264×2780, which converts to 450 pixels per inch. Visuals run at 120Hz, maintaining an ultra-fluid 120 frames per second. But that aside, laser peak brightness hits a crazy 6000-nit benchmark, so the sun is never bright enough to bother the phone. The sweetest touch to an HDR10+ HDR display is rendered keep colors alive with the breathtaking depth of Dolby Vision.
The GT7 screen is bright, with a potpourri of colors to be seen anywhere and anytime. Dive deep into the movies and games, the stunning display turns every frame into a colorful feast. Gamers, you have a treat! And yes, it’s Widevine L1 licensed, so you can HD stream on Netflix, YouTube, and so on, with zero jitter. Text is so crisp; brightness? Just crank it up, because GT7 never bats an eyelid. This is not just a screen-it’s a gateway.

Realme GT 7 runs Realme UI 6.0 based on Android 15
The Realme GT 7 doesn’t just compete below 50K; it reigns with a truly slick body and an eye-popping display worthy of a stare. It could be a hero: It ticks just all the boxes, lacking the rebellious charm, a shock “wow” really setting it apart in this sea of competitors. But the display? That’s magic.
Realme GT 7T Design and Display: Excellent packaging
- Colours – IceSense Black, IceSense Blue, and Racing Yellow
- Dimensions – 162.4×75.9×8.2mm and 202 grams
- Display – 6.8-inch AMOLED, 1280X2800 pixels with 120Hz
- Peak brightness – 6000nits
Mark my words, the GT 7T is where the real action is, behind the gates for Realme’s newly trashed GT 7 series. It bears the IceSense Black and Blue hues just like its sibling, yet that Racing Yellow, I tell you-I just snagged that color profile, and it is on an entirely different pedestal. Design-wise, The GT 7T Racing Yellow is an utter statement as opposed to a mere choice. If I had to choose, I’d pick GT 7T, and Racing Yellow is the icing on the cake.

The Realme GT 7T features a 6.8-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate
Shedding grams like a racer, the GT 7T is as light as air at 202 grams, a notable weight loss from the GT 7. The other colorway, though-the thrills come with it. It is a 205-gram in the yellow colorway and the racing stripe down its back gives imaginations of speed and adrenaline.
Throwing away fingerprints and ushering in comfort. The vegan leather back of the GT 7T is softer than soft and acts as a shield against everyday mishaps, though time will tell if it can laugh off stains and spills just as well. Graphene, just like on the GT 7, chugs heat whispers beneath the surface. Gliding in hand, this friendly phone plays single-handed scrolling sessions smoothly. The more than just gorgeous vegan leather gives a lifetime grip, umpiring away from added bulky casing. Yellow power button accents throw that bit of sunshine into the design. Realme’s handiwork is a testament throughout the GT 7 series that details matter. Also, with an IP69 rating, the phone scoffs in the face of dust and water.
Visual glorification of the GT 7T: encapsulating an expansive 6.8-inch AMOLED space with crisp display specs of 1280×2800. While the technologies of LTPO and Corning were left behind, Realme’s ArmorShell Glass provided protection against everyday hazards.
Eying the first impression for GT 7T? Well, this is not something to call a rough fellow! This fancy piece of hardware takes your pleasure in watching into a whole another layer as colors start resonating through Dolby Vision and HDR10+! Gamers, hear this: Put your reactions to the test with a 2600-Hz touch response!
And the headline act? A blaze with 6000-nit peak intensity. This born-bright display truly shines, blazing a trail of its own. Like the GT 7, the GT 7T screen is a multimedia and gaming delight. Sunlight? Oh, no! This screen stays vibrant and readable no matter how bright the day is. It’s a screen for all kinds of adventures, all binge-watching occasions, and all high-octane gaming moments.

Realme GT 7T also comes in IceSense Black and IceSense Blue colours

The Realme GT 7 Dream Edition is more than just a phone; it is a statement of speed and a tribute to the art of automotive creation. This device has been born out of partnerships with Aston Martin Formula One and the Aramco F1 team, screaming racing pedigree. Forget peaceful gradients – the big, bold Aston Martin emblem glitters back there with those silver wings that spell pure performance. That “Racing Green” color is more than just a color; it is the color taken right from an actual racing machine by Aston Martin. With elegant aerodynamic flow lines, it portrays the hidden breeze of smooth airflow. Even the square camera module drums up attention with striking yellow accents that inject a zest of character. Not just a phone, but a GT car fit nicely into one’s pocket.

Realme GT 7 and GT 7T Performance: Delight for power users
- Chipset – GT 7 – Dimensity 9400e (4nm)
- Chipset – GT 7T – Dimensity 8400-Max (4nm)
- OS – Realme UI 6.0 based on Android 15
- Software Support – 4 major OS updates and 6 years of security updates
At Realme, the GT 7 uses the MediaTek Dimensity 9400e, which is a 4nm fabrication technology-based processor manufactured by TSMC. Realme boldly puts forth the claim that this 8-core CPU can compete with the likes of Apple’s A18 and the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. I subjected the GT 7 and its sibling, the GT 7T, to some punishing benchmark tests with the competition. With the results? Let’s just say, the two phones need to be remembered.

Remember lag? Absurd sigh. Equipped with the Dimensity 8400-Max chipset, the GT 7T throws down the challenge, with an alleged buttery 120 FPS performance in a plethora of popular titles. Realme claims there is framerate support for over 20 games, and thus it was necessary for me to test that claim. BGMI, COD Mobile, and Standoff 2? Done. But a few big hitters seem to be missing from the list. Kudos to Realme for being transparent on which games have genuine 120 FPS support.
Gaming marathons? Both these phones can handle them, but there is a catch. The GT 7 brings the heat – literally. After some running, the heat climbs to a level where a cool-down break is necessary. Remember the graphene cooling tech? It claims to take a phone from sizzling-hot to pleasant cool in the matter of minutes_minimum 40°C+ to below 30°C within 20 minutes-at least in theory. However, in practical usage, pushing the GT 7 is simply pushing the limits of cooling. The GT 7T is rather the cool one here. A 50-minute BGMI session will heat it up, sure, but never to uncomfortable levels.

Realme GT 7 and 7T are smartphones built for gaming and can handle long gaming sessions
Multitasking is a piece of cake for the GT 7, which, therefore, holds its own against current Android flagships. The whole gaming experience really gets tactile thanks to a decent haptic motor rewarding feedback. There are sounds: loud and clear from well-balanced speakers, one firing from the base and the other from the top, easily filling a medium-sized room with immersive audio, somewhat perfect for multimedia and gaming. Connectivity? Check and done. The GT 7 nailed it. Calls were clear and 5G held on without a sweat for both Airtel and Jio networks. But then, the Realme SignalCatcher Chip is where the real magic lies. The technology can really pull signals out from nowhere, even in tricky spots. I subjected it to an ultimate test during the elevator ride. It was solid, no dropped calls. A thoughtful inclusion by Realme, and a savior for whoever has experienced that dreaded elevator disconnect before.
The GT 7T is no ordinary smartphone: it is a powerhouse engineered for anyone with exacting demands. Multitask with heavy-duty apps, plunge into the abyss of virtual worlds, and shoot incredible photos without any hitch. Time to relax? Those beautiful melodies of immersive sound will enrapture you, guiding you deeper into games and movies. And all this could have cost more, but for the fact that the GT 7T is well under Rs. 40,000, which is why it is a must-go-for choice of most discerning power users.
GT 7 and GT 7T unlock with a flair of futuristic technology: under-display fingerprint scanner. So responsive that I always chose it over face unlock. But I can’t help but think about what could have been. Since ultrasonic scanners are considered the gold standard in flagship phones, having one here could have really gone a long way in improving the experience itself.

Both the phones come with IP69 dust and water resistance rating
Diving into the future with Realme UI 6.0 based on Android 15, Realme GT 7 and 7T come with support for a long-term four major Android OS updates and six years of security patches. Not a record-breaking software support system, but reassuringly strong. Under Realme UI 6.0 comes the enthralling Flux Themes that let loose a storm of custom lock screen styles; if you had experience with Xiaomi, you might already be familiar. Finally, there is the delight of instant sharing with a new touch-to-share function-Realme’s interpretation of AirDrop.
Realme UI 6.0: A Polished Experience Powered by AI
Not so much a revolution as it is an evolution of Realme UI 6.0. Smooth animations and familiar comforts; now, these have been injected with one huge dose of AI. The GT 7 series is much more than only a phone; it is an intelligent travel companion.
Meet the AI Travel Snap Camera, your entry into those beautiful vacation photos. No more dull backgrounds; this feature is a colour artist creating vibrant memories from lifeless scenes. Mountain glory, island charm, urban spread-all given stunning clarity.
But there is more magic realized by the AI. Banish glare, beautify landscapes, and rescue blurry shots with intelligent editing. Erase objects you don’t want, increase clarity, and beautify reflections: just better than your photos. Realme UI 6.0: a blend of familiar facets with intelligent dynasty.

Witness its magic, the Realme GT 7 and its creation: the AI Eraser. Left-anywhere between reality and perfection; while the right, most certainly real, leaves us just wondering wondering, what is it?
Feel free to let a frantic juggling of schedules go! With Realme’s AI Planner, you get the company of an ultra-efficient companion who is capable of reading your screen. Having been developed in close collaboration with Google, the AI knows exactly what to do and fills in your calendar for you.
Open Settings, turn on the toggle, and behold the magic unfold anytime you wish on almost any screen (except the Home screen). Double-tap with two fingers on your phone’s back to invoke the AI Planner. It recognizes the content and ingeniously auto-creates events in your calendar.
During my review, this feature became a true lifesaver, helping me sort through my chaotic life schedule. The real showstopper? AI Planner would even block movie time proactively based on your WhatsApp conversations! Yes, you read that right. A second double-tap inside the app, and your calendar is instantly protected from interruptions, letting you enjoy the movie to its fullest. Quirky? Absolutely. Neat? Undeniably. A refreshing-offbeat touch.

For connectivity, the GT 7 supports Wi-Fi 7, NFC, Bluetooth 5.4 and more features
Realme GT 7 Camera: Excellent output, almost
- Cameras – 50-megapixel IMX906 sensor, 50-megapixel S5KJN5 telephoto sensor, and 8-megapixel ultrawide camera
- Selfie camera – 32-megapixel shooter
- Supports – 8K at 30fps, 4K 120fps Slo-mo, up to 4K 60fps Dolby Vision
Forget dual cameras; this one is powerfully equipped all the way against its Chinese counterpart. Imagine striking daylight of Paris in full detail during the Realme global launch. We are talking wide dynamic range that pops, colors so natural they’re practically alive, and noise reduction that is almost invisible. The outcome: pictures that preserve every single bit of detail. Welcome to an all-expenses-paid visual tour of Paris through the GT 7’s camera.

Such portraits hold their charm, with subjects emerging into artistic isolation. Exposure locks with commendable accuracy, and depth estimation almost always works even when light turns an issue. Colors render in a pleasing fashion, and stabilization in any circumstance has never gone wrong.

Getting into some punching-above-their-weight territory, the telephoto lens offers the pleasant experience of a 2x zoom. Images display crisp colors, details in plenty, and a good-dynamic-range hit on time.

The telephoto sensor on the GT 7 is a solid one (tap images to expand)
The zoom on the GT 7 is mostly decent but don’t expect a miracle. The low-light photography is passable while it does not particularly excel when compared with competing smartphones. For videos, there is Dolby Vision 4K cinematic recording and breathtaking 8K cinematic recording aided by watermarks on the GT 7.

A casual social snap is given justice with the ultra-wide camera of the Realme GT 7: expect no flagship-level pictures. This also doubles up for those wide shots when needed, just remember that it simply cannot compare to the detail and clarity present in the primary and tele lenses. (Tap on the images to witness the difference!)
Being a slight whisper compared to a shout, the 8-megapixel ultrawide lens handles very easy scenes but gives in when the light dips. Selfies, however, are in their glories with the sun; the 32-megapixel front camera softens the skin tones while keeping everything correct. There is a slight drawback to this good performance since other selfie cameras around this price point give sharper and more engaging portraits.

“Is it about a strong selfie game? Bright-light selfies with lots of detail are delivered by Realme GT 7. But there are some shadows there! And low-light selfies just don’t have the snap. (Tap to see the difference).”
Let’s be honest now. A selfie in GT 7 is just divine for social media. Are those apps downgrading image quality? Well, this cam sure has given wonderful shots that will still look awesome even after getting battered by those apps.
Realme GT 7T Camera: Dual cameras are decent
- Cameras – 50-megapixel IMX896 sensor and 8-megapixel ultrawide camera
- Selfie camera – 32-megapixel sensor
- Supports – 4K at 60/30fp and 1080 at 60/30fps
The Realme GT 7T’s camera system is a painter with light in one’s pocket. Exposure dances in harmony, showcasing a splendid world of rich details and fiery colours. Dynamic range is so wide that some shoots hit the brightest highs and the deepest shadows. Details explode in many shots, with colours true to life. The dual-camera system? Power couple performing at her best. The portraits generated by the phone are not manufactured; rather, they are genuine views of the subject. Facial features are carefully rendered, and the background blur graduations are soft and dreamy.

The Realme GT 7T doesnt merely capture moments; it brings them to life. Borrowing a page from the iPhone, it has Live Photo features that go now definitely to 2K resolution. But the cinematic feel doesn’t really stop there: allow the 4K cinematic video support to enchant you with every fabulous detail. Some quality is expected.

“The camera provides stunning performance in low light, but put it against true darkness and its weak-spot is exposed. It does show potential in lower-light settings, but leaves its viewers wanting more.”
Realme GT 7 Battery: A new benchmark for sub-Rs. 50,000 category
- Battery – 7000mAh battery
- Fast-charging – 120W SUPERVOOC support
- Charging – 0 to 100% in less than 45 minutes
Say goodbye to battery anxiety because the Realme GT 7 and GT 7T pack in a colossal 7000mAh battery to lay waste to the competition. But the real magic lies in its fast 120W SUPERVOOC charging that can take you from 0 to full in less than forty-five minutes.
In our rigorous HD looping test, the GT 7 gave a wink at exhaustion, running an unbelievable 33 hours and 34 minutes. And the GT 7T matched the GA 7’s became new bar for battery life in its class. Get ready to unplug and go!

The phone supports 120W fast-charging support and can fully charge within 45 minutes
The wall socket was laughed at for a day and a half by GT 7. We threw everything we had at it: an hourfull of the game, photo shootings that drained its digital soul for half an hour, infinite scrolling, two full hours of streaming, and an incessant hum of the background apps to demand its attention. It took it all and wanted more.
The Realme GT 7 and 7T simply snub battery anxiety. It gave me two full days on medium use, and that was without squeezing graphics-intensive games on it. Realme also presents an intelligent “Battery Health” section for longevity-conscious users. Meanwhile, you have the “Smart Charging” system, which learns your charging patterns and works to slow down battery aging. You can even instruct it to stop charging at 80% if you want to protect your battery even more. For a price of less than Rs. 50,000, the GT 7 and 7T uphold battery expectations that seem to move on far from the conventional notion.

Realme GT 7 series gets 4+6 years of software support
Realme GT 7 and GT 7T Verdict
The Realme GT 7 isn’t just embarking on the formalities of the “flagship killer” title; it is away with it into the sunset in a romantic elopement. This phone does not just perform; it launches itself. The tired battery, the fast processor, and the sharp-enough-to-cut-cameras-the-GT-7-intimidatingly-elevate-abject-boredom-of-routine. And those AI powers? They are not garnish but hard currency that brings the GT 7 into the battles of the present and allows it to hold its own.
A bit more than just a graphene back was needed to actually stand apart. Between the GT 7 and a 7T in a beauty contest, the 7T, particularly in Racing Yellow, just steals the limelight. However, toss in the GT 7 Dream Edition, and you have yet another killer contender, although one that’s a bit more expensive.
Have had enough of flagship prices but want to enjoy flagship performance which the GT 7 bravantly brings forth by offering best-in-class speed and marathon battery life at the sub-Rs. 50,000 price point. Camera needs just a tad bit of love, and the GT 7T is the real winner. With almost identical specs priced starting below Rs. 30,000, the GT 7T becomes the king of value; a premium experience doesn’t demand an exorbitant price tag.
What options does one have beyond GT7? OnePlus 13R (read our review) offers perhaps a similar or a better experience. Or, if one craves an entirely different thing, Nothing Phone 3a Pro 5G seems to be becoming a good all-round performer.
