Redmi Note 15 Pro+ Review: The Note Formula Refined
Redmi is now launching its highly anticipated Red Mi Note 15 Pro series in India, which has been released recently. In this series, the company has introduced two new models Redmi Note 15 Pro (launched) and RedMi note 15Pro+ (released). The Pro+ is the flagship of the series, while the Note 15 Pro caters to mid-range users, and still remains the heirloom of its predecessor. The brand’s new model has a premium design, pristine display, good performance and more.
Redmi Note 15 Pro+ 5G Rs. For the 8GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage 37,999 is Rs. 12GB Ram + 512GB model. paraphrast 39,999 99,99. Lastly, the 12GB + 512GB model is the best-end model for Rs. Paraphrasing 43,999999. Do you think it’s appropriate to buy this smartphone, given that there is a lot of competition for the segment in which said? Let’t know about this review.
Redmi Note 15 Pro+ Design: Premium and Durable
Dimensions – 163.34 x 78.31 x 8.19 (Blue and Black) /8.47mm (Brown)
Weight – 207.1g (Blue, Black), 208g (Brown)
Colours – Carbon Black, Coffee Mocha, and Mirage Blue
But Redmi has made sure that he can be as premium as possible to make it so high-end as she could. Three colour variants are available Black and Blue with a glass finish on the rear, and Coffee Mocha (with ‘Vegan leather finish’). I received that latter to be reviewed, and it sure looks more premium in your hand. But the design is not a major departure from Note series, however, as it looks like an important change in its style. That square camera module, which was in the Note 14 Pro+ (and still is present at the rear), remains with you.

The Redmi Note 15 Pro (left) and Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus (right) looks quite similar in terms of design.
The company has also changed the frame this time, but it’s a flat-frame design that is being introduced in some ways. This makes it easier to hold as compared to previous generation models. The display has also been updated, with quad-curved glass – which certainly gives the look and feel of a premium.
Most notably, the display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2, which gives some peace of mind when it comes to scratches or accidental drops. In addition, you also receive IP66/IP68/I69/P69K protection (which is a good feature of this segment except this). The handset also has a fast, reliable in-display fingerprint sensor. It is at the bottom of screen, but it’s awkward to unlock when a sits on top and so does not seem like an easy one.
Redmi Note 15 Pro+ Display: Vibrant and Colourful
Display – 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED display
Refresh Rate – 120Hz adaptive screen refresh rate
Besides, other Features include 480Hz touch sampling rate, 12-bit colour depth, 3,200nits peak brightness, Dolby Vision, HDR10+ Corninng Gorilla Glass Victus 2; DollbyVision,HDR10.

The smartphone comes equipped with a 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED display that offers vivid colours.
The company had also’made sure to pack a punch’, . Display Sharp and rich colours without oversaturated, the display is a sharp contrast to its usual displays by ‘s look-and-look like an over saturated one. It’s a device that is inky deep, and you will like binge-watching on this machine. Moreover, Dolby Vision and HDR10+ are supported by the handset so you can watch HDRI content on Netflix and YouTube in an easy way.
It also features brightness, as is the case with . When it is outdoors, you can watch the content on the display for a long time without any problem. Additionally, PWM dimming reduces stress on the eyes at low brightness levels (a good thing is that it’s a positive thing) to put less pressure on them. Yet, it does come with one simple compromise in terms of refresh rate. While the panel provides a 120Hz screen refresh rate, it does not support LTPO hardware.

The smartphone also comes with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection.
Similarly, the handset also has loud stereo speakers with high-quality audio speakers moving on from its predecessor. The volume can also be increased 400 per cent, but you’re going down a lot.

Redmi is offering four years of OS upgrades and six years of security patches.
A lot of options are available for the latest HyperOS 2 to tailor it up to your needs. This interface is fluid and stable for everyday use, with a user interface that feels like . However, a second-hand phone still ships with Android 15, while competition is on the way ahead in this regard as most phones of this price segment now have Android 16 available.

Redmi Note 15 Pro+ Cameras: Mixed Bag
Rear – 200-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.7 aperture + 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens
Front – 32-megapixel sensor with f/2.2 aperture
The rear panel of the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ has a dual-camera setup on its back. A 200-megapixel primary sensor and 8 mp ultra-wide angle lens have been added by the company, which has also recently introduced an Ultra- Wide-angle lens. In addition, the company has added a slightly improved selfie camera to its predecessor Redmi Note 14 Pro+ from previous generation.

The main sensor is the star of the show’s primary sensor, coming to the daylight performance. The pictures emerged sharp in the day, while the colour reproduction was natural. A bit more dynamic range may have been better, as I saw the shadows a little darker in some photos and that there was also oversharpening (and even during the day) of the sun.

Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus daylight telephoto camera samples. (Tap to Open)
The smartphone is a bummer in this price segment, but it doesn’t have telephoto sensor. Basically from the main sensor with crop zoom, and more 2x zoom shots and so on. Despite being on the surface level, but with photos good, closer inspection will reveal some loss in detail. A big hit in quality is a noticeable drop with 4x zoom and there’s.

But when it comes to the ultra-wide-angle sensor, in daylight conditions, it does a job average. These pictures were a soft one, and the dynamic range may have been better.

Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus low-light camera samples taken using primary sensor. (Tap to open)
When things turn the other way when they come to low-light performance, this is where it comes. This primary sensor is a good photo-resercher, and takes good photos. They are natural colours, with a balanced dynamic range and the colours are naturally natural. Still, you may notice a bit of background noises like . But this is especially the case when the lights aren’t that great.

Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus low-light zoomed in shots. (Tap to Open)
But with zoomed shots, the dynamic range certainly hits a shot; in some cases it is darker than the main sensor. In low-light conditions, you will see noise and loss of detail with 4x shots.

The ultra-wide-angle lens also performed averagely during the testing period. The photos appeared soft, and there was noise.
In the case of selfie performance, however, the smartphone does a good job in daylight. The skin tone is natural, and the edge detection around the subject is good. But in low-light things, it’s not that great a thing to say. In most of the cases, the photos were a bit softly focused and you can also see some noticeable noises in the background.
Redmi Note 15 Pro+ Battery: Decent
Battery Capacity – 6,580mAh
Wired Charging – 100W fast charging
Charger – 100W (Included in Box)
A 6,580mAh battery is available for the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ 5G, up from a 6,200mAh in the redmis Note 14 Pro + battery. The battery life has been better than the previous generation model, which was replaced by a newer version of . I had a day and half of battery life with moderate usage, but at the time during testing period it was just about that. Heavy usage The phone lasted for one full day well, but was still good enough to last with heavy use.

The PCMark Work 3 was 17 hours and 51 minutes long. The price range is good, with 0 Battery Life test. It also has 100W fast charging support, a step back from its predecessor’s 90W rapid charging system. It is a relatively fast charging, I got 0 to 74 percent in 30 minutes and 49 minutes to charge 100 percent.
Redmi Note 15 Pro+ Verdict
I think Redmi Note 15 Pro+ is a good all-rounder, with features and functionality. It feels like the design is ‘high value for money’, and the vegan leather finish sure does add brownie points to the look. Big and bright display is a good option for binge-watching long, with binging sessions. Good battery life, and the faster charging is a difference.
It is not a perfect all-rounder, though, because there is still room for improvement. The 200-megapixel gamble is a bit of slap in the daylight and low-light conditions, but portraits and zoomed-in photos do not leave room for improvement; however, it does make sense to improve on portrait images. HyperOS 2 (hypos) The hyper OS 2 . A miss at a time when most of the competition are offering models with the latest Android 16 is that it’s stable, but still runs on Android 15, which remains unchanged.
Which smartphone is good battery life, a large display and dependable build quality for you? Redmi Note 15 Pro+ But it’s a tough competition here, with contestants such as Realme 16 Pro+, Poco F7, Vivo V60, Oppo RenO 15 and more.
