AirDrop via Quick Share Reportedly Expands to Oppo Find X9 Ultra Vivo X300 Ultra
A number of devices have been reported to be growing support for Apple’s AirDrop file sharing via Android’S Quick Share, which has also reportedly expanded into support. Android phones can send and receive files directly with iPhones without using third-party apps, it has the feature. reportedly has started to be out of Google Pixel and Samsung Galaxy smartphones, which it is said to have been rolling out beyond the Android phone giant. This feature would make file sharing easier for both Android and iOS devices, allowing easy transfer of photos, videos or other files without further apps according to reports.
AirDrop File Sharing Expands Beyond Samsung and Google Pixel Phones
An Android Central report claims that this feature is now available on the Oppo Find X9 Ultra and Vivo x300 Ultra. Users must also enable AirDrop visibility on an iPhone and set it to “Everyone” for a short time, after which the iPhone appears in Quick Share menu. This is then said to be the case of file transfers in both directions, although speeds may be lower than with native AirDrop or Android-to-Android sharing.
The report also notes that the feature was first introduced on the Pixel 10 series and later extended to older Pixel models and the Samsung Galaxy S26 line-up. Also, Samsung has brought it to the Galaxy S25 series with the One UI 8. UP 5 update
Meanwhile, 9to5Google also says that AirDrop support for Quick Share is now extending to more Android devices — from the Oppo Find X9 Ultra to Vivo x300 Ultra. The feature is active on the Oppo device after a recent update, according to the report, and works like it does in Pixel and Galaxy phones.
The report further adds that “support for the Vivo X300 Ultra seems to be unprecated.” Also, it suggests that the expansion to Oppo and Vivo means a wider rollout of more Android devices could follow in the near future.
