Often proudly showing innovation, it is one of the best brands in the world and has its Galaxy Z Fold range. its S series, which is slated to be defiated for the flagship handsets (usually above Rs) while it has been described as being an “over-Rahram” phone. While the overall feel of the UI is barely touched, ads and bloatware that bog down handset performance really dampened the experience. But the Galaxy A57 and Galaxy a37 also suffer from the same problems as the Rs, unfortunately for both of them. One1,000 Galaxy A07 has 11,000 faces.

I compared the phones with the new OnePlus Nord 6, which, justifiably beat the Galaxy A37 by miles and gave the galaxy A57 a tough fight (which is much more expensive than its predecessors), given the price of the iPhone A55 and Galaxy S37. The most comfortable phones are in their element under natural light, and the sun rays are very harsh. The post-click image processing of Samsung’s cameras also helps you improve your shots, giving crisp images with sharp edges.

Also impressive are portrait photos of . A perfect autofocus is able to identify and separate the subject of images well, effectively distinguishing it from the rest. In the day, skin tones are close to natural as seen in the shots below. But sometimes the performance can be erratic, as when it is best to capture a well-defined shadow when the light source does not interfere with the subject. They also give you a slight edge on your shots, with the cameras giving you an even fine bokeh effect as well.

The Samsung Galaxy A series handsets perform their best up to 5x zoom while both cameras can support upto 10x digital zoom. It is a bit of an awkwardly , as if the company added it just for the sake of 10x zoom.

But under artificial lighting, sharpness is much less than the case of paraphrasingr. Although portraits are still similar, the ultrawide sensors in both handset’ – which is not as clear as one expects from mid-premium handsets – do not provide any clarity. It also dries in dimly lit conditions, with the performance further falling under . The main rear camera can still be in passable shots, which you may want to share on Instagram.

But this can’t be said about the ultrawide and macro cameras. Both sensors are ‘out of depth’ when they are at light or when clicking images indoors. All this is fine until you look at what their predecessors had to offer. The camera configuration is similar for last year’s Samsung Galaxy A56 and Galaxy a36, which has the same camera set up as last years. A57 was 15 hours and 43 minutes long on PC Mark’s battery performance test, while the Galaxy A37 was 15, hours & 24 minute. The Galaxy A57 may have been a long-lasting device, even though both handsets carry the same capacity batteries as they are with Super AMOLED Plus panel and Exynos 1680 SoC which was more efficient.

A good phone to ask for the price, a Samsung Galaxy A57 and Galaxy An37 are fine devices. Nevertheless, the high price relative to hardware on offer makes them the most value-for money handsets in their respective ranges. But those who are part of the Samsung ecosystem and have already been familiar with how OneUI feels to use can certainly be sure that either of these two is a good fit for one’s consideration.

If I started with the question that I asked them, will they give the competition from Chinese OEMs a run for their money? The answer is no simple. The OnePlus, Realme and Xiaomi phones have leapt far ahead in offering much more value than they were before. So if you’re interested in the Samsung brand name, which certainly is much more valuable to people’s mind than it is for them that would be better, then the Galaxy A37 will be a good deal.

The OnePlus Nord 6 is better, even if you value performance and battery life more than the . In contrast the Samsung Galaxy S25 FE is far better phone in most respects over A57, with an improved software experience, higher performance and more camera quality as well to the brand of its Samsung galaxy S series.
