Anthropic’s Claude Can Now Complete Creative Tasks in Adobe Blender and Autodesk
The phrase “Anthropic” seems to be focusing on design and creativity-oriented tasks. The company is releasing a series of new connectors to allow its chatbot to perform complex creativity tasks in third-party platforms after it released Claude Design, based on the latest design and visual output-focused artificial intelligence (AI) tool last week. They were designed with a number of software brands, including Adobe, Autodesk, Blender and more. The AI firm in San Francisco also highlighted a number of ways users will be able to use Claude for tasks that require creativity and imagination.
Claude Gets New Creative Connectors
Claude’s new connectors were released for the AI startup in a newsroom post, which announced that the new plugs had been released. Their release was based with partners Ableton, Adobe, Autodesk and Blender as well as Splice by Anthropic who worked with its partners. While the company did not specify, these connectors are likely based on the Model Context Protocol (MCP), a standard that connects AI chatbots with external data hubs.

While Anthropic has argued that, while the ability to directly respond within these platforms, Claude will be an assistant which automates the manual and repetitive work of tasks (and not as end-to-end creativity agent). And despite this, the company says that even in this role, chatbot will save users time.
In the official product documentation for Ableton, a Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) which is used to support its responses, as it comes to the use cases, in that case Claude can ground up its answers. The chatbot, meanwhile, connected to Adobe, has over 50 tools in Creative Cloud apps (including Photoshop, Premiere and Express) for creating images, videos and designs.
As for the Autodesk Fusion connector, it can also assist users with an active subscription to create and modify 3D models using prompts. Splice, a cloud-based music creation platform that allows Claude to search its catalogue of royalty free samples when it is used by the site. Besides such things as this, Claude can also use Affinity by Canva to automate repetitive tasks like batch image adjustments, layer renaming and file export. Sadly, Canva is one of the only platforms where Claude Design can export its output.
However, despite the fact that AI is following in pursuit of vibe coding-based capabilities and solutions for its competitors, the company which pioneered the enterprise code tools has now started to focus on creativity automation.
