Arc Raiders Riven Tides Update With New Map and Arc Machine Arrives April 28
A new map Arc Raiders is finally getting a new one as part of its Riven Tides major update on Tuesday’s maps, Arce RaiDERs has been given. Along with the titular Riven Tides map, the update will introduce a new Arc enemy, re-introduction of ‘nondefeated minor map condition, events, cosmetics and more. The final update is Riven Tides, the four-month content roadmap shared by developer Embark Studios in January to deliver an updated version of the 4- month content plan that has been released for developers.
The studio described the big update in a blog post on Monday’s Arc Raiders website detailed by the studio, which was posted to explain it. With the first new map added to the extraction shooter since November 2025, Riven Tides update will add the original one in three maps. Arc Raiders have lost much of its player base in recent months due to the slow release of new content and maps.
Riven Tides Update Details
Arc Raiders’ sixth map will be the Riven Tides map; the PvPvE shooter launched with four maps on October 30, 2025, a new map called the RvTides. A. coastline map of the new coastal map shows an abandoned beachline and points of interest including Exodus port, Panorama Azzurro hotel and more ‘Exodu port is also part of this new seaside mapping with its point of view on the old coast line (and other places)
As well as the map, Arc Raiders also receive a new flying Ar C enemy called Arca Turbine along with the Map. machines hover over the map and are mostly docile. And if they close to one of these Arcs, players will be facing a “totally unique” fight. But Embark said Arc Turbines are “brat’ defense, with the ability to defend themselves in a new way” and pose ‘brutal’ challenges.
The Riven Tides update also introduces a new minor map condition, Beachcombing, as well as introducing the latest little-known one. Players may walk through a detector on the beach with live map condition to discover loot that was buried, and find smashed loon.
Moreover, the update includes two new fall mitigation items that could potentially change Arc Raiders’ gameplay. Such s include the crash mat and the power descender. In the update, a new limited-time event and redesigned player project will also be added to the game as part of an addition to ‘new players project’. The in-game store will finally add two new cosmetic sets, with more on the horizon in May.

The final Arc Raiders update is slated to be released as part of the Escalation roadmap, which was announced in January with Riven Tides. In the coming weeks, Embark will likely announce a new content roadmap for the rest of the year.
The majority of Arc Raiders’ player base on Steam has been largely lost over the last few months due to lack of new maps and content from its original players. Embark has released smaller updates, including new Arc machines and map conditions, but players have complained that the speed of major updates is too slow. It will be available on April 28 across PC, PS5, and Xbox Series S/X with the Riven Tides update.
