Russian writer Dmitry Glukhovsky (left) has said the game’s story is the most “grown-up” narrative that he’ve worked on with 4A to date, and metro games are based on popular Metro novels by his favorite author DMITry GKhovski.
My favorite story of Metro 2039 is “The story I wanted to tell you, but it had to wait until the reality came to catch up with me. And so it doesn’t seem like a dystopia or science-fiction anymore. And for everyone, now it is relevant,” Glukhovsky said in an interview on X Thursday.
